Will I need Planning Consent?

Unless you are planning a small domestic extension Planning Consent will be required. TDRP can advise you and lead you through this process.

Certain small domestic extensions are classified as Permitted Development. TDRP can explain this to you to establish if it will apply to your project, alternatively contact your Local Authority Planning Office who can send you a booklet.

Will I need Building Regulation Approval.

Nearly all Building Construction work does have to comply with Building Regulations. TDRP are Specialists in this area and can prepare and submit projects to Local Authority Building Control Departments. A recent development has been the growth of independent Building Regulation Consultants licensed to deal with Building Regulation Applications. This is a cost effective and efficient way forward and TDRP works closely with these Specialists.
